Constantino’s Cafe on Euclid Ave in Cleveland is a new business that opened up not too long ago, but they’re already making an impact in their community. They’ve decided to promote campus safety by partnering up with Cleveland State University to help raise awareness of the Viking Shield safety app through a local business promotion.
Constantino’s is giving away a free small cup of coffee to those that have downloaded Viking Shield on their phones. The Cleveland State Police Department was given 1,000 promotional cards to pass out to students on campus, as well as given them to other people (resident assistants, student organizations, etc.) to help pass out.
It’s always great to see universities and local businesses partnering, but it’s even better when they’re doing so for the sake of safety!
