Version 6.7.0 Feature Release Notes: 911Cellular Portal

 

    • COVID Self-Assessment Privacy Levels – You can now choose from 3 privacy levels on each self-assessment you create, affecting how responses are displayed in the Portal: Anonymous – Results are NOT saved with user data. Completed self-assessments are viewable in the COVID Self-Assessment list without specifying result. Identified – Results are saved with user data. Completed self-assessments are viewable in the COVID page list with a satisfactory or unsatisfactory result. Trendline Only – User data is NOT saved. Completed self-assessments are NOT viewable in the COVID Self-Assessment list.
    • COVID Settings tab & Self-Assessment link – A new COVID tab now houses COVID configurable features. A Self-Assessment Link allows community members to take your self-assessments on a webpage.
    • Emergency Button Slider toggle ON / OFF – Under App Configuration, your Mobile Safety App’s Emergency Button Slider can now be toggled on / off, allowing you to present your app without this feature if desired.

Various bug fixes and improvements to the overall system have been implemented in addition to the above items.

  • General Updates

    • COVID Safety System Self-Assessments – Administrators can create custom self-assessments and select which responses earn a valid badge for Mobile Safety App users.
    • COVID Self-Assessment List and Data – Those with permission can view line graph data pertaining to the overall performance of Mobile Safety App users who have completed a self-assessment. A list is also shown with the option to invalidate individual completed self-assessments.
    • Help Desk & Product Configuration Wizard – A Help Desk tab is now available and includes the Product Configuration Wizard. The Product Configuration Wizard assists Portal users in basic configuration of each available product via step-by-step instructions.
    • Geofences Improved – Geofence functionality has been improved to support import / export and precise boundary lines.
  • Computer Panic Button Updates

    • Wearable Panic Button Pairing – Wearable Panic Buttons can now be paired with Computer Panic Buttons.
  • Mobile Safety App Updates

    • COVID App Configuration – After a self-assessment has been created, Administrators can implement a new feature type called ‘COVID Self-Assessment’ within their Mobile Safety App to make it available for their community.
    • COVID Self-Assessment & Badge – Mobile Safety App users can complete self-assessments based on their title, department or any other category set by Administrators. Once complete, users will either receive a time-sensitive entry badge for satisfactory results, or information on how to protect themselves and others for unsatisfactory results. Mobile Safety App user privacy is prioritized (no health information is stored or displayed).
  • Mass Notification System Updates

    • VOIP Method of Sending – You can now configure your VOIP network to be integrated with the Mass Notification System, allowing for increased communication coverage within your organization.

Version 6.5.0 Feature Release Notes: 911Cellular Portal

 

  • General Updates

    • Portal User Language – The Portal now displays the preferred language of each Portal User as determined by the Portal User’s browser.
    • Audio Configuration – The default audio cue for Emergency Calls and Incoming Tips has changed. Portal Administrators can now upload their own audio file for these sounds as well. These configurations can be made under Settings > General Settings > Audio Configuration.
  • Computer Panic Button Updates

    • CPB for Mac – Computer Panic Buttons are now available for Mac computers. You can download the software under Settings > Computer Panic Buttons > Download CPB Client.
    • CPB Multilingual Support – Computer Panic Buttons will now display the computer’s preferred language.
  • Mobile Safety App Updates

    • App Icons – Portal Users can now choose various custom icons for each feature that will be displayed to app users within the Mobile Safety App.

  • General Updates

      • Tab Badges – The Emergency Calls, Incoming Tips and Send Notifications tabs will now display badges in each respective tab’s top right corner to notify the Portal User of unattended items within the tab.
      • Incident Types – Administrators can now require that an Incident Type be selected by the Dispatcher before archiving an Emergency Call. Incident Types can be managed under Settings > General Settings > Incident Types.

 

  • Mobile Safety App Updates

    • Watch Groups – Watch Groups allow for Mobile Safety App users to be assigned to a specific geofence. Watch Groups can be created under Settings > General Settings > Watch Groups. Once a Watch Group is created, it can be assigned to a geofence.

 

  • Mass Notification System Updates

    • Active Notifications – After sending a mass notification with any interactive element enabled (Community Feedback Board, survey questions, I’m Safe), if the notification is not initially resolved, it will become an Active Notification and will appear within the Send Notifications tab. All Active Notifications will appear at the top, above saved notifications, to remind Portal Users to attend to them.

  • General Updates

    • Analytics heatmap – The Analytics section now contains a heatmap for the Emergency Calls and Incoming Tips Portal functions. This heatmap shows geographical data pertaining to these functions and can be sorted by date range.
    • Zone selector search bars – New search bars added to all Zone selectors in the Portal.
  • Computer Panic Button Updates

    • Added ‘Open Log Folder’ button – Computer Panic Button users can right click the icon in their task tray, click ‘Details’ and then ‘Open Log Folder’ to view log files.
    • Computer user phone number displayed – Dispatchers can see the available phone number of a computer user if their Computer Panic Button is activated. This information is displayed along with other data in the Emergency Calls tab. A phone number can only be displayed if it is available within the Active Directory.
  • Mass Notification System Updates

    • Ask Recipients if they’re safe during emergency situations – The ‘I’m Safe’ feature allows you to ask your Recipients if they’re safe during an emergency. Recipients can respond by clicking a button for either ‘SAFE’ or ‘NOT SAFE’ via multiple methods of sending. Comprehensive data (including a map of respondents) is then presented within the Portal as results come in.
    • NOAA / NWS Weather Alerts – You can now have weather alerts automatically sent to your entire community when certain weather events take place. You can configure these alerts to be sent based on specific parameters provided by NOAA’s National Weather Service.
    • Targeted sending with ‘My Locations’ – Community members can now register their physical address from the Mobile Safety App interface or the community profile webpage. This will allow them to receive notifications sent to their targeted area. Portal Users who send mass notifications can then restrict sending to targeted geofences which will inform the users with registered addresses in that area.
    • App Alerts has returned to bolster deliverability – App Alerts can send push notifications to Mobile Safety App users who are part of a Group or within a targeted geofence at the time of sending. Real-time targeted sending using App Alerts can bolster mass notification deliverability (deliverability success rates for App Alerts are dependent upon each user’s smartphone operating system restrictions).

    • Systemwide International Phone Number Support – phone number entry fields now support international numbers
    • Reseller Portal Branding – Resellers can now have their company logo inserted into the Portal in place of ‘911Cellular Portal’ logos in various locations throughout the Portal.
    • Timestamps on Chat – Timestamps now appear on all chat instances throughout the Portal.
    • Camera Configurations are now tied to a Security Zone.
  • Mobile Safety App Updates

    • Contact Automatically Added To Phone – Installing the Mobile Safety App will create a phone contact automatically on the user’s device. When the app user receives a mass notification via SMS or phone call, they will see this contact as the sender. The contact’s name is configurable.
    • Countrywide Emergency Phone Number Configurable – when a panic button is activated outside of a geofence, you can control which emergency phone number will be called (currently defaults to 911).
  • Mass Notification System Updates

    • Mass Notification Scheduling – Schedule mass notifications to be sent at a later date / time.
    • Location-Specific Mass Notifications (Your 911) – Recipients can input physical addresses on the Community Profile webpage so Portal Users can send location-specific mass notifications.
    • Batch Upload Update – New email addresses are no longer sent an initial password creation email during batch upload.
